Walrus Audio Lüm: limited granular reverb with elements of SLÖ, Lore, and Fable
The Walrus Audio Lüm is a limited edition that combines the best of three Walrus pedals: the modulated reverb of the SLÖ, the reverse reverb of the Lore, and the granular synthesis of the Fable. The result is a texture engine that transforms your signal into rich, shifting soundscapes that blur the line between instrument and ambient sound design. The Lüm is built for guitarists who want to make their sound disappear into a world of granular beauty.
The three modes each offer a fundamentally different character. Mode I (Grain Cloud) creates a granular cloud with two granular taps that read from a feedback delay line, where the X knob controls the grain size and the frequency of the glitches. Mode II (Grain Verb) allows the granular taps to read from the memory of a reverb algorithm, as if the grains have taken a bath in reverb. Mode III (Forward Reverse Verb) combines a forward reverb with a reverse reverb for a playful, rhythmic interplay between both directions, with the Stretch knob controlling the speed of the interaction.
The Lüm has 1/4" input and output and is powered via 9V DC. Controls via Decay, Filter, Mix, X, and Stretch.
