Walrus Audio Julia V2: Analog Chorus and Vibrato with an Unforgettable Character
The Walrus Audio Julia V2 is a fully analog chorus and vibrato pedal that stands out due to its broad tonal palette and intuitive controls. From a subtle, watery chorus to a dazzling detune sound or a wobbly vibrato, the Julia V2 covers the entire spectrum of analog modulation. The V2 version adds top-mounted jacks for extra convenience on crowded pedalboards, a soft-switch bypass, and new artwork.
The D-C-V knob (Detune, Chorus, Vibrato) determines the basic character of the effect and is at the heart of the Julia's versatility. Rate and Depth control the speed and intensity of the modulation, while the Lag knob sets the effect from tight and almost sterile to a quirky, warble-like sound. The LFO waveform is adjustable, making the Julia particularly expressive for guitarists who want to shape their modulation. The pedal responds organically and dynamically to your playing.
The Julia V2 features 1/4" input and output (top-mounted) and is powered via 9V DC. Controls include Rate, Depth, Lag, Wave Shape, and D-C-V.
