The Supro 1932RH Royale Head is a tube amplifier for guitarists who are looking for plenty of headroom, a solid low end, and a responsive touch. The tone feels smooth and direct at the same time, ensuring that small nuances in your playing remain audible. This makes the Royale attractive for players who want to shape their base sound via guitar volume, touch, and pedals, with the extra room of a powerful tube head.

With the switch on the front panel, you choose between Class A at 35 watts or Class AB at 50 watts. Class A gives the midrange more emphasis and allows the amplifier to break up sooner. In Class AB, the character becomes tighter and more direct, with more emphasis on the lows and less of the smooth compression. This way, you can adjust the response to your playing style, recording, or desired amount of headroom.

The Royale features a spring reverb with a distinct, spacious character, an optional Boost, and a high-quality effects loop. The controls consist of Volume, Boost, Treble, Mid, Bass, Reverb Level, Reverb Dwell, and Master. The preamp contains three 12AX7 tubes, one 12AT7, and one 12DW7; the power stage uses two 5881 tubes. The various tone and reverb controls make it easy to set the amplifier from bright and open to fuller and more saturated.

As a head, the 1932RH connects to an external speaker cabinet via one 8-ohm or two 4-ohm outputs. Three TS jacks are intended for an optional footswitch for Boost, Reverb, and the effects loop. The finish is Black Scandia.
