Supro 1822RBB Delta King 12 Combo

The 12-inch Supro DK12 gives the Delta King 12 a fuller foundation

The Supro 1822RBB Delta King 12 Combo is a 15-watt tube combo with a 12-inch Supro DK12 speaker and built-in reverb. This combination provides a fuller foundation than a small practice amp, while keeping the controls straightforward. For guitarists looking for their first tube amplifier, this is an accessible way to learn to hear the difference between volume, tone control, and reverb for yourself.

The preamp uses a 12AX7 tube and the power amp a 6L6. With that tube foundation and the separate Treble, Mid, and Bass controls, you can precisely adjust the sound to your guitar and the room you are playing in. The built-in Reverb adds extra depth, so a short chord can sound more direct or have more sustain. This way, while practicing, you can discover in a practical way how tone control and reverb change your sound.

The controls consist of Volume, Treble, Mid, Bass, Reverb, and Master. The Mid control gives you an extra way to adjust the midrange, in addition to the usual high and low frequencies. The combo has a Line-Out connection and no effects loop. With 15 watts of power and its own 12-inch speaker, it offers the most important tube amp features in one compact set, without the need for separate equipment to use the built-in reverb.

The cabinet is made of poplar and finished with black tolex. The dimensions are 43 x 19 x 41 cm and the weight is 13 kg. This makes the Supro Delta King 12 sturdy enough to be used as a permanent practice or rehearsal combo, but still manageable in size. The mix of a 12-inch DK12 speaker, tube amplification, and built-in reverb makes this combo a great next step for anyone looking to further explore their first amplifier sound.
