Supro 1612RT Amulet Combo

The Supro 1612RT Amulet brings tube character from stage volume to living room

The Supro 1612RT Amulet Combo is made for guitarists who want an expressive tube amplifier without having to lug around a large cabinet. With switchable power settings of 1, 5, and 15 watts, you can tune the amplifier to the room and the desired volume. This keeps the Amulet interesting for home use, while also giving it the flexibility to go along to rehearsals and gigs.

The power control makes it easier to have the amplifier working at an appropriate volume while engaging the character of the tubes. At 5 watts, you can turn the Amulet up further for a complex, tweed-like overdrive. If you choose 15 watts and keep the volume lower, you get a full, clean tone with headroom instead. The response to your picking dynamics and volume knob helps you musically control the transition between those sounds.

A Celestion Creamback 10-inch speaker provides a compact, direct reproduction. Reverb and tremolo are built-in, so you can add spaciousness and movement to your sound without extra pedals. With the Speed and Depth controls, you can adjust the character of the tremolo; an optional footswitch can turn the tremolo on or off. The spring reverb gives your tone extra depth, from subtle to clearly present.

The preamp contains three 12AX7 tubes and one 12AT7; the power section uses one 6L6. Controls consist of Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb, Speed, Depth, and Wattage. There is no effects loop; the speaker outputs are 2x 8 ohm. The poplar cabinet is finished in Black Scandia tolex. At 13.1 kg and with dimensions of 43.2 x 20.3 x 44.5 cm, this tube combo remains pleasantly compact. Watch the existing demo and hear how the Supro 1612RT Amulet can fit into your setup.
