The signature guitar that captures Scott Henderson's tone down to the millimeter
The Suhr Scott Henderson Olympic White is built to the exact specifications of one of the world's most influential fusion guitarists. The Olympic White finish on the Alder body is sleek and timeless, but it's the specs that truly make this instrument special. Scott Henderson has been playing on a flat 16" radius for decades, and that choice is fully implemented here: the Roasted Maple neck with Indian Rosewood fretboard and D-profile (.800"-.880") provides a direct, fast playing experience that is ideal for his characteristic bends and vibrato.
The 22 Jumbo Nickel frets (.057"x.110") are deliberately larger than standard Suhr frets, which makes bends smoother and improves intonation at higher frets. Three V63+ single coils (not hot) via a 5-way switch with volume and two tone controls. The Modified Fender Six Screw bridge with custom steel block and shortened tremolo arm is a detail that directly refers to Henderson's personal setup. Suhr locking tuners, 25.5" scale, gig bag included.
The choice of V63+ (not hot) is telling. Scott Henderson doesn't want extra output or colored pickups, but a signal as transparent as possible that lets his playing technique and the amplifier do the work. The result is a guitar that responds to every nuance of your touch, and in the hands of the right player, sounds like few other guitars can.
