The PRS Tekton Floyd White Holoflake is the Tekton for guitarists who give the tremolo an active role in their playing. This version combines the modern Tekton platform with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge and a solid alder body. The White Holoflake color is combined with a black satin finish on the neck. The name Tekton refers to the Ancient Greek word for craftsman or builder, a fitting concept behind this purpose-built electric guitar. The contoured contours and improved access to the highest frets keep the focus on your playing.
The two PRS Stylus humbuckers were specially developed for the Tekton family and emphasize articulation, clarity, and character. Clean parts retain their detail, while overdriven chords and fast passages remain clearly defined. At the same time, the pickups feel at home both with a tube amplifier and in a digital modeling setup. The split pickup settings are also designed as full-fledged sound options. With the volume control, push/pull tone control, and three-way blade pickup switch, you move between different sounds. The Floyd Rose bridge adds room for expressive vibrato and pronounced pitch movements.
The 25.5-inch scale length, the ebony fretboard with a 16-inch radius, and the 24 stainless steel PRS Jumbo frets form a purpose-built foundation for technical and expressive playing. The maple neck has a Modern D profile and is finished in black satin on this version. Offset Dot inlays and blue Luminlay side dots help you orient yourself. The body is made of alder. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series replaces the fixed bridge of the standard Tekton. PRS Phase III Locking Tuners and a PRS Double-Acting truss rod complete the equipment.
