The ES-335 is one of the most iconic guitars Gibson has ever built, and the Custom Shop '61 VOS is the most faithful interpretation of the original. This 2020 model is second-hand, in excellent condition, and features the Vintage Original Spec finish: a lightly aged nitrocellulose lacquer that gives the guitar the character of an instrument that has been played for decades, without the wear and tear of a true vintage find.

The sound is defined by two Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers, unpotted and hand-wound, which deliver the warm, open tone for which the ES-335 is famous. The thin, resonant 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body provides a rich acoustic foundation, while the mahogany neck with its authentic '61 Skinny C-profile and Indian rosewood fretboard offer a playing feel that is immediately familiar. With 22 frets, a 24.75" scale length, and a 12" radius, this guitar plays smoothly across the entire fretboard.

The hardware is entirely nickel-plated: an ABR-1 bridge, Kluson Single Line Double Ring tuners, and the classic 2-volume/2-tone electronics with a 3-way switch.
