The D'Addario EJ74 is the medium gauge phosphor bronze string set for mandolin, ideal for players who want more volume, a fuller sound, and a firmer attack. The EJ74 is wound with phosphor bronze on a steel core and supplied as four pairs of strings (11-11-15-15-26-26-40-40), as is customary for mandolin. The medium gauge offers more tonal volume and sustain than the light set, and is suitable for most mandolins in standard GDAE tuning. Produced in the USA with D'Addario's strict quality control.
