The Trickfish External Pre Amp (EPA) is the external version of the Internal Pre Amp that comes standard in every Trickfish Bullhead amplifier. Bassists who want to use the characteristic Trickfish tone with a different amplifier or directly through the PA finally have the option to do so without lugging around a full Bullhead.
The sound of the EPA is transparent, detailed, and extremely musical. The active four-band EQ gives you surgical control over the entire frequency spectrum, while the DI output allows for direct connection to a mixing console or audio interface. An indispensable pedal for the bassist who wants to take their tone everywhere.
The Trickfish External Pre Amp features an active four-band EQ (Bass, Low Mid, High Mid, Treble), a Gain knob, and a Master Volume. Connections include Input, Output, XLR DI-out, and 9V DC In. Compact, robust, and ready to use.
