The Boss Katana Mini X brings versatile Katana tones to your practice space
A small amplifier doesn't have to limit you to a single sound. The Boss Katana Mini X combines 10 watts of power with three amplifier types and built-in effects, allowing you to discover a variety of tones right at home. The wooden enclosure and custom 5-inch speaker give this compact guitar amplifier a rich, full-bodied character. Thanks to the rechargeable battery, you're not tied to a fixed practice spot. Place it next to the sofa, take it to a friend's house, or grab your guitar whenever inspiration strikes. The front-panel controls keep everything easy to see, even if you're just starting out with electric guitar.
With Clean, Crunch, and Brown, you can go from bright and open to a heavier edge and pronounced overdrive. Each amplifier type has three variations, including a flat response setting for electro-acoustic guitar and bass guitar. The multi-stage analog gain circuit was developed using the Boss Tube Logic approach. With the analog three-band EQ, you can easily adjust the bass, middle, and treble to suit your instrument. Two independent effects sections offer ten effect types in total, allowing you to experiment without having to buy separate pedals right away. This lets you discover which combination suits your playing as you go.
The Katana Mini X has a built-in guitar and bass tuner with panel indicators. You can stream audio from a mobile device via Bluetooth to play along with your favorite songs. The special output with cabinet simulation and stereo effects is suitable for practicing with headphones and for recording. The rechargeable battery provides up to ten hours of playing time, depending on use. It charges via USB-C; a USB Type-C to Type-A charging cable is included.
For anyone looking for a compact practice amplifier that inspires you to play more, this little Katana offers surprisingly many options. Plug in your guitar and discover your favorite combination of amplifier tone and effects.
