The Darkglass Alpha-Omega is the result of an intensive collaboration between Darkglass and bassist Jon Stockman. For eighteen months, they tweaked, prototyped, and refined until this pedal saw the light of day. The result is an instrument that stands completely on its own: two fully operational amplifier-based overdrive circuits, Alpha and Omega, each with its own character and seamlessly blendable via the Mod knob.
Alpha delivers a tight, defined overdrive with an emphasis on high harmonics, while Omega offers a darker, more aggressive distortion with more body in the low-mid range. The combination of both circuits via the Mod knob gives you a dynamic range that is hard to match. The three active EQ bands and the toggle switches make the Alpha-Omega the most flexible pedal Darkglass has ever designed.
The Alpha-Omega features controls for Blend, Level, Drive, Bite, Growl, Mod, Bass, Mid, and Treble. Connections include Input, Output, Parallel Output, Direct Output, and 9V DC In (30 mA).
