The Sandberg California TM4 Superlight in Red Burst is a bass that immediately stands out. The deep, fiery burst finish gives the instrument a look that attracts attention both on stage and in the studio. The Paulownia body keeps the weight low without compromising on tone: open, resonant, and with a natural warmth that you immediately feel as soon as you pick up the bass.
The Sandberg Blacklabel pickups deliver a versatile tonal palette from warm, full fundamentals to tight, articulate tones with bite. The 2-band EQ with split switch gives you direct control over your sound. The Pau Ferro fretboard plays smoothly and fast, with a clear attack that works particularly well in both studio and live situations.
The neck is made of Canadian Hard Rock Maple in a 6-piece laminated construction, stable and consistent under all conditions. With 22 frets on a 34" scale, a 14" radius, and Sandberg Classic chrome tuners, the playability is exactly what you would expect from a Sandberg. The black pickguard and chrome hardware complete the look in a tasteful way.
