The two Gibson Custom USA P-90 Soapbar single coils are the heart of this instrument. They deliver a tone that is somewhere between a humbucker and a Stratocaster pickup: full and warm in the lows, but with a sharpness and presence that humbuckers rarely achieve. Ideal for blues, rock-'n'-roll, garage, and indie. The 1960 SlimTaper D-neck plays fast and comfortably, while the 24.75" scale length and 12" radius give it a familiar Les Paul feel. The wrap-around stopbar bridge keeps the construction simple and ensures a direct transfer of string vibration to the mahogany body.

Both the body and neck are made of mahogany, with an Indian Laurel fretboard featuring pearloid dot inlays and 22 frets. The Epiphone Deluxe tuners with Keystone knobs ensure stable tuning.
