The Sandberg California TM5 Superlight in Natural lets the wood speak for itself. No burst, no color – just the pure, untreated beauty of the Paulownia body in its most honest form. Lightweight, open in tone and direct in character: this is a 5-string bass for the bassist who knows what they want.
The Sandberg Blacklabel pickups deliver a versatile sound palette from warm, full fundamentals to tight, articulated tones with bite. The 2-band EQ with split switch gives you direct control over your sound, even on the lowest B-string.
The neck is made of Canadian Hard Rock Maple in a 6-piece laminated construction, stable and consistent under all conditions. With 22 frets on a 34" scale, a 14" radius and Sandberg Classic chrome tuners, the playability is exactly what you would expect from a Sandberg. The black pickguard and chrome hardware complete the look clean and functional.
