Epiphone 1963 Firebird I Silver Mist
Made in collaboration with the Gibson Custom shop, here is the Epiphone 1963 Firebird I!
Epiphone and Gibson Custom have once again joined forces to bring back a very special instrument: the 1963 Firebird I! This Epiphone is an authentic replica of the classic launched in 1963, designed by car designer Ray Dietrich. At the time, the Firebird was the very first Neck-Through guitar from Gibson. It was used by legends such as Johnny Winter, Brian Jones, Eric Clapton and Keith Richards - to name a few!
This Epiphone variant delivers the same vintage Firebird specs at a very accessible price point. For example, the neck is made of mahogany and walnut, the wings are made entirely of mahogany and the headstock of the Firebird is equipped with Kluson banjo tuners. The wraparound lightning bar bridge is remarkably stable and provides extra sustain, while the Gibson USA Firebird mini humbucker has the same crisp, urgent sound as the original. Includes luxury hardshell case!
