The Ibanez AZES40 is an electric guitar that shows you can get an instrument that really works for little money. With a familiar SSH pickup configuration, a comfortable neck, and a sleek fixed bridge, this guitar is ready for anything a budding guitarist throws at it. The sound of the AZES40 is versatile and direct. The two Essentials single coils in the neck and middle positions deliver clear, open tones that work excellently for clean playing, funk, and light overdrive. The Accord humbucker at the bridge adds body and punch for rockier work. Via the 5-way switch and the volume and tone knobs, you always have the right sound at hand.

The maple AZES neck is fast and comfortable, with a 635mm scale length and a 250mm radius that keeps the neck nice and flat. The Jatoba fretboard with white dot inlays plays smoothly and has 22 medium frets. The poplar body keeps the weight low, and the T106 bridge with Comfort round steel saddles ensures stable tuning and a pleasant playing response. Delivered with D'Addario EXL110 strings (.010-.046) and chrome hardware.
