The story behind the RAT begins in Kalamazoo, USA, 1978. In a small shed, the first prototypes of this distortion were built there, which would later become an absolute classic in the world of effects pedals. And actually, you only have to play it for 10 seconds to understand why; the RAT really blows out of your speaker with its almost fuzz-like, biting overdrive. Thanks to the filter, you can keep the highs somewhat in check so that every amplifier looks forward to the RAT with pleasure. Subtle? Absolutely not. Cool? Oh yes!
