The character of the EG1 is largely determined by its three modes: Radio, Digital Television, and Tape. Each mode has its own tonal quality and introduces specific processing artifacts that shape and color the repeats. The Mod knob responds differently per mode, providing aggressive filtering, Nyquist downsampling artifacts, or mechanical tape wobble. Yet, the EG1 never loses sight of the bigger picture: standard delay parameters like feedback, mix, and timing remain fully available, including integrated tap tempo for rhythmically precise repeats. With approximately 900ms of delay time, improved dynamic range, and a true wet/dry mix control, this pedal fits into almost any genre, from country slapback to shoegaze walls of sound.
