The Laney Digbeth DB200H lets you combine two sonic characters in a single bass cabinet

Why choose just one bass sound when you can combine two preamp sections? The Laney Digbeth DB200H delivers 200 watts RMS and features mixable FET and TUBE preamp sections. You can switch between them using a footswitch and adjust their relative balance, so you are not limited to a single starting point. This bass cabinet is ideal whether you are putting together your first standalone amplifier setup or looking for greater control over your existing bass tone. Connect a suitable speaker cabinet and take the time to discover how both sections work together with your instrument.

The FET Volume, Tube Drive and Tube Volume controls let you determine the balance between the sections and how much drive you add. This allows you to create a distinct difference between two sound settings or find a combination that suits your playing style. The selectable MID pre-shape EQ curves provide different starting points for the midrange, where much of a bass part's character resides. The TILT control also offers a quick way to shift the tonal balance. You do not need to go through a whole range of settings every time you make a change: compare the sound, listen to your part and make targeted adjustments.

For connecting to a mixing desk, there is a balanced XLR DI output with a Pre/Post selector and Ground Lift. The effects loop provides a place for external effects between the preamp and power amplifier. You can connect an external audio source via the 3.5 mm stereo AUX input, while the 3.5 mm headphone output provides an additional listening option. The combined speaker connection accepts both a Speakon-compatible twist-lock connector and a 6.3 mm jack speaker cable. Use a suitable speaker cabinet and speaker cable, and check the required impedance before connecting. The two-channel design keeps the controls easy to manage, with separate volume controls for the FET and TUBE sections.

From your first independent bass setup to a more thoughtfully crafted band sound: the Digbeth DB200H gives you the freedom to experiment. Discover which mix makes your bass line sound its best.
